We provide fast courteous service
and are always willing to travel, depending on your needs. We offer daytime re-con, and nightlong on-site investigations,
with sleepovers optional on most appointments. All evidence gathered is looked over immediately, and carefully, and no information
is expressed or shared with anyone without our/your approval. Your privacy is important to us, and is respected.

Equipment we use

DVR (Digital Voice Recorder)-- The recording of EVP's
through the use of digital voice recorders and detailed interrogation, which is later analyzed with special software like
Adobe Audition by our experts. Frank's
Box--This device is made right here by our Lead Tech, and allows direct interactive
contact with spirits. It is not designed by the original creator of the Frank's Box, but however is similar in functionality.
A very valuable tool in gathering EVP evidence. EMF Sensor (Electromagnetic Field) --The
use of special sensitive equipment which reads any changes in the environments electro magnetic field, which tends to detect
the presence of paranormal activity. K2 Meter (EMF Sensor)--The K2 EMF meter is a standard
EMF detector. Most EMF detectors use a needle that will move up and down when indicating electromagnetic energy. The K2 meter
uses lights to indicate the energy instead of a needle, flashing and then finally staying lit at the level found with the
meter. IR Cameras
(Infrared)--Special analog
and digital cameras which are equipped with special light emitting diodes, and infrared sensors that are able to detect movement
in absolute darkness. Often recorded to VHS, DVD, and other forms of digital media. Digital Thermometers--These are
essential to obtaining temperature changes quickly. More advance models are laser thermometers, that give you temperatures
of where you point the laser and thus are very useful for taking fast readings of different areas without moving.
Motion Detectors-- These are two part devices that emit an infrared beam, and when the beam is broken an audible alarm sounds.
These are useful to ensure no-one enters a locked off area, and to detect if a spirit passes through the beam. Digital Cameras--Common throughout the world now
for great digital picture taking. Significant breakthroughs in spirit photography have been attributed to these modern marvels. 35 MM Film-- Of
course no investigation could be complete without a good old fashioned roll of color print 35 MM film-stock. Always reliable
and available.

Investigative Techniques

Research & Interviews | When investigating a haunted location as part
of our preparation, we try to collate as much information as we can. This is usually done via research
on the web, books and visiting historical archives. Interviewing people who are associated with the location or who have experienced
something is also another method. When researching a location we make notes, get copies of material or if on the
web we print it out so we can refer to it later. When interviewing we make notes or even better, sometimes we record
the interview so again we can refer to it later. During our interview, we ask as many questions as we can regarding your paranormal
activity, and how it has effected the people living on the property. Interviews are typically done in person so we can get
a feeling of any unusual activity. |
Preliminary Check After
we arrive on scene we do a preliminary check of the property. This will include recording temperatures in every room, making
note of where personal "Key" objects have been placed, turning on and off light switches to check for faulty
circuits, recording EMF discharge of light switches, outlets, and appliances, making note of environmental noise in and
out of the residence, and talking with the resident(s) about any recent activity before our arrival. All information is written
down for future reference and sometimes recorded on a voice recorder.
The Investigation At the start of all our investigations all members sit close together and hold hands. We channel
our energy, by breathing deeply, and calming ourselves down. This helps us to remain calm, and gives a relaxing atmosphere,
and helps us to rid ourselves of any negative energy that we or our residents may have brought with us. After we feel we are
ready, and relaxed, we then decide where we will each be stationed in the residence. We never usually just sit in one location,
but we spread out in teams to cover the entire residence, so that all rooms are covered at the same time. If a residence
is too big to accomplish this, we take shifts. Each team has at least one camera, one digital voice recorder, and one
video camera at all times. During the course of the investigation, pictures are taken and questions are asked, along with
readings from various equipment. Depending on the level of activity we get, this method of switching rooms with different
team members will continue until every team has been in every location in the residence. After this stage of the investigation, we usually take a break for a short period. This lets us stretch our legs,
and gives us a chance to discuss our findings or personal experiences, and plan any future strategy for the rest of the investigation.
When we restart we will often will go back to the room that we thought had the most activity and all team members will attend. At
this time we all ask questions and try to verify what we are dealing with. Often if we get no responces or activity
(cold spots, noises, EMF) we will try to provoke the spirit into activity. This can be dangerous at times, and we all must
agree that this is a good course of action. Next we usually try a table tipping
activity, or a glass moving technique. These techniques often give us good results, and give us many answers to our questions.
If we have good success with this, then we sometimes move on to direct communication through the use of a homemade Ouija Board.
Make no mistake, this is a powerful tool and we have been trained very well on it's potential for negative effects. This
type of device is only used when all members are present, when there is no negative activity present, and with the consent
of the client. We make our own board by using a black marker, and a large sheet of poster board, that way the board can be
easily destroyed after use. This is typically the last type of investigative method we use, and depending on the client, we
sometimes will sleep on the property for more evidence. These are just some of
the methods we use to investigate, and these will change depending on the client, location, and severity of the haunting
The Review We
always try to review evidence as soon as possible. This requires watching hours and hours of video footage, listening
to a mile of audio recordings, and looking at hundreds of pictures. Whenever possible we try to do this together, but often
each team member present at the time on the investigation will be assigned their own evidence to look over. When potential
evidence is found, weather it is video, audio, or a photograph, all team members are notified and the evidence is looked over
carefully to try to debunk it. Yes, we deliberately look for reasons to debunk potential evidence, and if we are all in agreement
that it is a false positive, then it is dismissed. If the footage
can't be debunked or explained, then it is deemed to be "Evidence", and a majority of our team members
must be in agreement. After we have the "Evidence", we then take the necessary steps to clean up, enhance, and
backup what we have found and prepare it for delivery to the client durring the reveal. All evidence we gather is kept
strictly confidential, and is never published on this site, or released without the clients permission.
